Protagonist Concept & Technique Ideas & Tetris attempt

Developed the concept for the protagonist of my game some more:

Some ideas i've had for parts of my video game:

  • Model my Protagonist by drawing Front & Side views, attach them to the Cinema4D viewports, Use the Brush Tool to shape a large cube into the shape of the character using the drawings as a guide to get the right shape and proportion. Then export as a .OBJ and open in Zbrush as a base mesh, then add the details - take back to C4D to add texture via Body Paint and hair using the hair tool.
  • The Human race in the game should be more like Rangers than the Cliché royal humans in most games, with settlements instead of castles, archers instead of valient knights etc etc.
  • Use a high detailed and high res concept drawing / Matte Painting as the distant background in Unity to add to the atmosphere and create the right look. (Like in Lord of the Rings)
